“There are no attendance at any of these facilities. All of the locks on the units are Bluetooth and battery powered. When the battery dies in the lock you end up standing there for an hour and a half waiting for an attendant from somewhere else to drive out. Payments through the app and the website do not work and nobody answers any of the phones at any of the locations. I have been leaving voicemails for days about my concerns about not being able to pay my rent and I get no replies . I’ve never seen any business that makes $500,000 a month and cannot keep an attendant at the location to take care of customer concerns . This place is a cash cow and good luck getting your stuff back once you lock it inside ..”

Lakeside, California is an unincorporated community nestled in the foothills of the County of San Diego. Living up to its namesake, it is surrounded by several lakes where you can fish, boat, jet ski, and camp. It has a long tradition of being a “cowboy town,” due to a prevalence of ranches, horses, and the Lakeside Rodeo Ground. Here, a thriving Lakeside Rodeo Association hosts at least two rodeos per year, among other fun events. Lakeside is the quintessential small-town living experience, nestled away in the exciting and expansive San Diego County.
When StaxUP Storage found the opportunity to offer our storage unit solution to the people of Lakeside, CA, we jumped at the chance! First, we placed our storage rental facility where it would have easy accessibility to the 67 HWY and the city of Lakeside. We wanted this property to be another jewel in our portfolio and for its surrounding community; a new, state-of-the-art facility, built from the ground up with the customer in mind so everyone in Lakeside could find storage near them.
All three floors of this storage rental facility have a flat, drive-up entrance. No need to climb or carry, as we provide push dollies on every floor for our customers’ use. If it better suits your needs, we do also offer an elevator for access to the floor you are renting a unit on. All units are interior units and have roll-up doors. Our facility is sure to have a storage solution for you, no matter the storage type.
The latest in technology, accessibility, and convenience; our customers use the Bluetooth entry app to gain entrance to the facility and their unit. Tenants can only access the floor of their unit, offering the height of security for you and your belongings.
Speaking of security, we provide constant, 24-hour video surveillance at every point of entrance and exit. Every unit in our Lakeside, CA storage facility is protected by a digital lock with a complete activity log for the unit – logging when it is accessed or locked. Also, the inside of every unit is equipped with a motion and heat sensor. This feature immediately notifies the Manager if there is activity inside the unit once you have locked and secured your unit. There is also a fire sprinkler located inside every unit.

“No support at office my first visit there. Called their number and employee hung up on me after I heard I see you on camera. Said park up front. BTW was the farthest door from my unit. Bathroom in lobby was locked. No map to show where best entrance was for my particular unit. Finally figured it out on my own but shouldn't have had to.”
